Limited resources, funding and restrictive policies can often preclude social organizations from helping with the day-to-day challenges of families and individuals in crises.
Where do you turn in a time of need when those familiar organizations are simply unable to help? For example, in the midst of a critical illness, who is willing to assist you with the everyday hurdles of life that suddenly seem insurmountable? Or, who can help if you’re struggling to manage the daunting responsibilities of caring for a family all by yourself? Who would lend a hand to provide you with meals, transportation, childcare, housekeeping assistance, home or auto repairs when a crisis strikes? And at the most fundamental level, who can you turn to when you just need someone to talk to?
Sadly, help can be hard to find when you simply need someone to share your burden – whatever that may be. VillageHelps exists to help those in need in Milton, and to fill the gaps left by other community services and individuals.
